Work Plan

Big Idea: Developing teamwork among students enhances learning. Teamwork is an integral part of creating and performing a musical show. The 5th grade work plan shows an overview of the subject matter and ideas taught during the 3nd year of the CAPE program. The main idea of the year is that teamwork enhances music and writing. Literacy is an integral part of writing the story of a musical and the lyrics of the songs within a musical. Working in groups and developing teamwork allows students the opportunity to feel more comfortable with writing and producing/performing music.  Teamwork is a skill that is used in real life applications, and students can make connections from their CAPE arts project to their everyday life.
