Our projects combine musical composition with literacy-focused units focusing on writing rap, poetry, song lyrics, and personal essays. We incorporate non-traditional scoring and explore classroom and neighborhood community in our projects to foster self-esteem, creative expression, multi-cultural understanding, and musical-academic growth.
